I am proud to announce the release of the final live show by Shadow Ministers. Please see link in player.

6 original tracks from Australian dub jazz experiment Shadow Ministers, with special guest Steve Phillips on keys. All tracks were written by bassist, bandleader and mc, Liam O’Connell.

Joel Dreezer plays some incredible flute and saxophone through an array of interconnected effects. Solid skanking form the keys adds a solid backbone for rap lyrics to ride and guitarist Matt Lustri to weave his magic.

After the show, a new group was established called Guns of Dickson, to continue in a similar direction with more vocals and increase in shorter tracks. The dub wise still rules and yet has space to influence some more tempos and feels. Remember the name Guns of Dickson.

Live from the Basement, Belconnen is the third live performance from Basement Reggae Sessions by the band, in cooperation with Clandestino Canberra. Special guest keys provided by El Dub Terraneo.
